What's your minimum guest count for caterings?300 minimum guest count or $800 minimum. Do you charge per hour?We do not charge per hour only per item served. Cups, napkins, spoons, and straws are complementary. Events lasting over a 6 hour time slot may be subject to an additional fee due to current labor regulations.
How many shaved ice flavors can I choose?We would love to bring all 100 flavors but due to limited catering space and transport to your event we narrow it down from 3 to 4 flavors. Keep in mind a long list of flavors create long lines of indecisive guest that take time out of your event.
Cotton Candy Bar?Yes you can! We are known as Nashville's Cotton Candy Bar and offer up to 50 different organic and naturally flavored cotton candies. To quickly move the line and not have your guests waiting we make these fresh the day of and serve them in air sealed containers. You may also choose for us to hand spin these on cones but keep in mind this process takes more time from your guests.
What's your set up? What do you need?We have a strict setup diagram we use and require a minimum space of 12 feet x 12 feet. Our setup for outdoors require our pink tent. Serving tables are covered in black table clothes unless specified by organizer in which organizer will provide. Indoor events also require a 12x12 space and no tent is required. 1. If your event is providing electrical, power supply must be on during setup time for proper ice fridgeration. 2. For all events we require a loading and unloading zone. Pending on guest count we also request 1 to 2 parking spaces for our loading truck(s). 3. In the instance your event is canceled due to poor weather or any unforseen issue, we must be notified at least 48 hours in advance of cancelation.
How long does it take to set up?We arrive 2 hours before the start of your event. It's important for the space to be clean and ready for our setup.
Tax exemption?Please provide us with the proper Tax Exemption documentation provided by your state.
Deposit?A deposit of 20% of the total estimate is required upon confirmation of the estimate. The deposit is nonrefundable if canceled within 30 days of the event date. The deposit is applied to the total amount due. We normally work weeks ahead of your event to insure we have enough ice blocks, supplies and are fully stocked and ready for your special event. A typical large catering we would prepare in advance about 50 12inch ice blocks made with our osmosis system, 50 gallons of fresh simple syrup and our natural fruit purees.
Payment?Payment is due at the end of our services. Cash and card are accepted. There are fee's associated with card transactions and info can be found on your estimate.
